Start Here: What This Course Is / Is Not
Welcome to IBC 101
Many people leave an introductory event interested in the possibilities but still unsure how the mechanics work. This short course gives you a shared vocabulary before you meet with the team, so your conversation can focus on your goals and questions rather than rushing through the basics.
What this course is
- A plain-language introduction to participating whole life insurance and the Infinite Banking Concept, often shortened to IBC.
- An explanation of premiums, cash value, policy loans, interest, repayment, dividends, illustrations, and underwriting.
- A way to identify the goal or concern you want to discuss with the team.
What this course is not
- It is not a personal recommendation or a determination that IBC is suitable for you.
- It is not a promise that a policy will replace your bank, mortgage, retirement plan, or emergency fund.
- It is not a guarantee of dividends, tax results, loan availability, policy approval, or investment performance.
Use one standard throughout the course: understand the contract and the tradeoffs before discussing implementation.
Suitability depends on your objectives, time horizon, funding capacity, liquidity needs, existing coverage, health and underwriting, policy design, and professional review. Do not cancel, replace, surrender, or borrow against an existing financial product based only on this course.
