Basic Design is the client education course completed after the financial assessment and before the Personal Design meeting. It uses a consistent $10,000-per-year teaching illustration to explain policy structure, funding limits, illustrations, access through policy loans, and the decisions needed for a personalized design.

What you will learn

  • Why the $10,000 figure is an example rather than a required commitment
  • How base premium, paid-up additions, and term insurance work together
  • How to distinguish planned funding from the MEC boundary
  • How to read guaranteed and non-guaranteed illustration columns
  • How policy loans work, including interest, repayment, and risk
  • What information CCS needs for your Personal Design

Each lesson ends with a short, easy knowledge check. This course is educational and does not provide individualized insurance, investment, legal, or tax advice. Personalized values and recommendations are presented only after review of your facts and carrier illustrations.
